Snipes if free for now, and I think he should get the role in Brooklyn's Finest

It is good to know that Snipes will be free to make more "B"(Bad Ass Straight to video in this case) movies. However he better wrap them up quick. It seems that they would like to give the dude some time behind bars. However that may be it has been determined that the man poses no threat and will be out on bail until the appeals decisions are made.

So in the mean time with Brooklyn's finest in pre-production, he can get his foot back into the film and it would be a great opportunity for him to take all of his energies and put it towards the role. I know that it is not a sure shot, of him actually taking the role, but it would be nice. Do as the musicians do, finish your album, then promote the heck out of it. Always think positive.

So whoever is in charge give the man the role, with Ethan Hawke, Don Cheadle, and Ellen Barkin, it will be a sure shot winner. So take my advice on this one and get to filming.

Like my opinion has any effect, but I am so sure of this one. Also it would be nice to have him hit the big screen again. I love his latest Straight to DVD ventures, if they had larger budgets, they may have been even better.

I will keep my eyes on this for now. I will keep you guys posted.

So the word is out and Snoop Dogg may be one to beat. He does not go down without a fight. Apparently the British did not know who they were messing with.

The British Government made an attempt to ban the rapper due to an altercation at Heathrow airport. After viewing footage of the incident, an immigration judge has decided to overturn the choice to keep him out of the the country, as reported by the timesonline. Which decided to give you a brief rap sheet on the rapper in the first sentence of the article. Damn the UK is pissed about something.

The original decision was based on a rushed process of keeping the rapper out of the country, where officers involved received the benefit of the doubt without thorough review of the situation. So this led to the rapper being band. However what has now come to the surface is a tape showing that the officers agitated the situation by shoving the rapper and snoop not retaliating in no way at all.

Come to think about it, if he retaliated there would have been more about this story than we have been reading in the past few months. So what we have here is a case of British Airways Discrimination and local police bias, that caused an international taste deficit in the mouths of those who once coveted the UK and the Airline that gets you there.

Who knew that the British Airways would hate this way? Do they have hate? If they do why is this the case and should Americans continue to patronize this airline.

Well from Snoops Lawyer Phillip Trott point of observation, he feels, " It has been an appalling waste of public money to pursue this man. It is outrageous that the government is trying to exclude someone who is an innocent figure and has frequently spoken against gang culture and youths carrying guns."

Well well then!

The government agency who pressed this charge has until next Wednesday to decide whether to appeal. A spokesperson stated that any comments at this time would be inappropriate.

off the wagon and at it again

Linday Lohan, there is much we need to know about you. Word is she has been hanging out in NYC and she has been hitting the bottle with no redemption. At some place called the Beatrice Inn! Is it true? If it is this is what I have to say.

Are you on the wagon again or are you off the wagon and off the trail? I do not know at this point what to think. Heck she has been drinking for some time now, and I do not see her stopping at this point.

With all that is on her plate and much press driving her career in the direction of bottom row. You would think she would take the time out to cut back on the partying but no, she has to be out with all the famous people to get her face out there. She does not have the ability to sit still long enough for her body to clear of the bad fluids, such as vodka.

With a buddy like Samantha Ronson; trailing behind you most of the way, and an acquaintance in the better half of the Olsen twins you would almost be guaranteed a good time out on the town. So what should we expect from her? I said it before and I will say it again. Lindsay needs some serious time off and I do not care if this is a one time thing with her. I don't care if she does this only on the weekends, or once a month. No drinks for an entire year!

We will see if she takes me up on my dare. Since she likes taking risk, lets see if she can look in the mirror at her self for the next year with out being under a haze.

Will Smith to play Egyptian Pharoah?

Did I read correctly? This is one for the Library! Is history ready to turn in a direction of total facts and less fiction? It would be nice to see Hollywood open this door that has been shut by misconceptions and bad approaches.



Will Smith has a little known production company, you may have heard of, by the name Overbrook Entertainment which produced that last three films Smith has been featured in. Which all brought in high Box Office numbers. From what I read so far they are excited about taking on the project of The Last Pharaoh. With a few tweaks to polish it up all spiffy like. The film will focus on Taharqa, who was the king of Egypt ( from 690 BC to 664 BC) and the battle between the Ethiopians and the Assyrians for the throne of Amun-Ra.




The buzz has been brewing for the latter end of March on such site as PopCritic and Mania.
However many will begin to speculate due to a lack of proper history lessons and ask the questions that will point out the obvious. However before you do so, make sure that you are well read and know about the excavations that are debunking the Myths about Egypt, its royalty and people. I am hoping my vagueness is not too much of a mystery, but I am being very cautious as to how I put this together. However due to it monumental nature and possible groundbreaking step in towards the right direction, Hollywood will begin to expand its art into the realm of truth. The Politics behind this one will work out well, because it is in the right hands to grow. This will prove that...YES... HOLLYWOOD CAN GROW!

With the latest release of information in the February 2008 issue National Geographic, of some long coveted information about Egypt and its Pharaohs all will begin to come full circle. If they are rewriting correctly we will see another great film to add under the Overbrook Belt.

It is obvious that I have high hopes so in support of those hopes please comment. Perhaps if this movie begin to depict things the way it should. EnterPolics may have to change its name to EnterTruth, naaaa, politics will always play a part in how films play out and are made.

Tyler perry and Crossing over to the mainstream....

I was surfing the blogospher looking for interesting topics and blogger and I come across Inside Urban Hollywood an Insider Blog for the African American Film Industry. Which outlined an interesting point, stating, "While Perry has consistently deliverd $20 million plus openings for his string of Lionsgate features, his overwhelmingly black audience demographics have not crossed over to the mainstream movie-going audience."

In response to that there was a reader that made a comment on the posting over there pertaining to Tyler Perry and his current status as a producer of films, that are geared towards the black film goer which is a response to the Inside Urban Hollywood and Hollywood reporter. Which poses the question. "How black is too black for broader acceptance?"

So I commented and I realized as I was writing that I had a little more to say than I thought. So I am posting that here for you my readers to get a sense of my Point of View of African American having to cross over into the mainstream film industry.

Here is my response slightly edited for fluidity:

Empress makes a point that is very clear to African Americans as one that should not have to take place; every time success becomes the goal, in respect to whatever you do in life. In that dimension of thinking she is correct. African American of course need to know that they can build their own financial community from within.

However I think the formula that offends is the watering down of the actual work in production being tainted by images that do not coincide with the African American Community. This is infuriating if not demeaning to Black American life. Also I get the feeling that Empress does not see that possibility of incorporating the reality of what African American life has to offer, by extending the welcome arm to show the true color of American life. This topic alone should lead you to Debra J. Dickerson's book, THE END OF BLACKNESS, which make for a great read.

This topic is one that is more intricate than a simple yes and no answer. There are elements and ideas at play that are not in alignment with true artistry. In order for Blacks to tell the story and whites for that matter, all racial and culture backgrounds should have representation, depending on the demographic of the films location. You are not going to find 500 black people in Russian cities, but you will find some doing significant things in reality, so that should cross over into film. That goes the same for stories based on the African American Experience or African Experience as a whole. You must know your position. Nothing irritates movie goers more than a film that does not represent correctly and that feeling is universal amongst all races.

Tyler does not need to cross over he has the power to make universal films at this point. I am sure that his world is not black alone without shades of white. Their is black person that can tell you that they do not know, live or work with whites. So it is time that the entire story begins to see the silver screen, and Tyler Perry has that wealthy position in film that is very rare to pull it off. The studios will listen to him.

What is your story Tracey Edmonds?

A time long ago Tracey Edmonds and Kenneth "BabyFace" Edmonds were a happy couple. I am not one to revisit old memories but it seems as if Tracey is beginning to make choices at random.

Over at Dlisted we share something near agreement, their point of view on the Tracey and Rocco spotlighted much needed attention to her day to day life, but for Enterpolics, I want to know more.

There's a little known fact Tracey has a small but very successful production bran; by the name Edmonds Entertainment Group Inc., which is growing as I am writing this. However that does not seem to assist her in curtailing her serial dating habits. Must she hop around the public spotlight with random men who are not all that put together? Just asking. what is with Rocco DiSpirito? Are you looking to eat better meals because you are beginning to shed your feathers? What is the deal, did not Eddie Murphy satisfy you in your quest to hate men for a while?

I do not know what angle is being worked in her life but it seems that she becomes pal's with random dudes in the entertainment industry without discretion. I am not saying she is dating this Rocco character, but I am sure he is cooking something up for her. What do you think people, let me know.

****People Please subtract choices such as who's your caddy I think she made a bad choice on that one, which seems to correlate with dating Eddie, WYC is a comedy he would do. If she had a better team she would not have made that decision. Then again allow some speculation that she is attempting to build her financial status to produce better films(which better be fact), and if that is the case, why not do a small but significant film? I don't mind seeing a comedy but why does it have to be a non intelligent piece of S**T! Come on Tracey see if Rocco can whip you up a protein and nutrient rich meal, perhaps you need to rebuild some lost mind space. Just a suggestion.

Oprah danced on by Ellen DeGeneres numbers!

It was inevitable that Single women would prefer to watch Ellen over Watching Oprah. Oprah has an older demographic, that does not appeal, or entertain for a better choice of words, to younger viewers the same way that Ellen can and does.

Ellen is not your typical talk show host! With a mass amount of her cards on the table to see, it is easy to see her. This is what this generation craves and thrives on, as much truth as possible because they have far too much information in an hour to decipher. It does not matter what cards she plays, they all seem to work in her favor in which she appeals to this current generations way of approaching taboo topics and living ones life parallel to them. Her sexuality is not something that is of concern and does not seem to shape her comedy. She is not partial to her guest, she is funny, and she knows how to have a good time, and to top it off she have genuine crowd participation. I am a guy and I TIVO it in my dream hoping to catch every episode one way or another.


Bottom line Ellen is that Sister that most women wanted to have and Oprah is that stuffy mother who is nice but to assimilated to the norm. They are both good talk show host, but if you want to have fun and you are under the age of thirty you are watching Ellen, if you are over 30 you are watching Oprah or both. It is a coin toss on any given day if you ask me, but Ellen has a very appealing formula.

I guess we can sit back and watch now, because it is one, and Oprah has a WEALTH of resources. Lets see of personality beats money!

Brad and Angelina not married?

The sources for People reports that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt did not get married in New Orleans on Saturday. From what is being said that this source comes directly from one of the couples running mates.

Yeah whatever!! I am beginning to think I need to stop dreaming because they got married long time ago and the buzz that they may marry or are thinking about getting married is far more interesting than them actually being married. What do you think?

However if my speculationg is wrong then that makes me a day happier. Angelina not being married allows me more time to dream.

Whatever it is what it is. Love it Love, and these two been married in their own little way. We love talking about this don't we?

Rumor has it $8 - $10 Million could be made from the twins

That is right, it is a buzz floating off the backs of the bees in Hollywood that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, may be paid a whopping sum of $8-$10 Million dollars for shots of their the twins. However the buzz includes that it has to be twins, but I am sure her and brad will collect something a little more than praise no matter the sex or amount of baby's she produce. This is the Branjolina tribe we are talking about, and another addition, is money in the bank these days.

Thats if she will be in the states when this takes place, she may get paid in some type of foreign currency.

All jokes aside, she is the one to pull in a pay day for sitting on or next to a hamster.

Maya Angelou is soon to celebrate her much talked about 80th birthday. The celebrated, self taught academic, is honored the world over and has an extensive list of accomplishments from a world then and now. She has weathered storms and has written pieces of history through her eyes within the pages of her memoirs.

Clingy just clingy?

It appears that Usher's new wife may be ushers out the door soon if she does not get her act together. She need to realize he makes his money off of being Usher, and if someone hires him to do just that with added sex appeal, then let it be. Or is there something else going on in their personal life that we do not know about? It may come out sooner than later.

In the mean time, it seems that Usher wife has been described as "domineering." A vibe she has given off on his recent video shoot for his new track " Love in the club" over the weekend of March 15th. Tameka Foster ( Usher's wife), became livid, after finding out singer/songwriter, Keri Hilson was personally picked by Usher to play his love interest, celebrity spy witness told to the New York post, page six column.

“It was supposed to be a sexy video shoot. And Tameka was there
the entire time guarding like a watchdog. It was ridiculous - she knows
Keri and knows she’s no video ho or Karrine Steffans.”

I have my doubts about this all together, but this is not the only issue that has surface about his wife and her controlling ways. We will see. But from looking at Keri Hilson, I would see why either the rumors would begin or his wife flipping out. Heck my lady would have a fit if I was left alone or shooting a video with this woman too, she may sniff every inch of me before I proceed to shower.

Laila Ali getting ready to bring in a new champion

Laila Ali, daughter of a champion, a man who broke down barriers and wooed the world over. He goes by the name Muhammad Ali, known to many before the name change as Cassius Clay. However this is not about the father to whom we have grown to measure our current gladiators by, no, not at all. This is about a daughter who had an ability to get out there and lay out a legacy of her own. She took all punches and returned them just the same.

Laila Ali, one of the greatest if not the top of the pack, of female boxers who can get in the ring with the best of them on technique alone male or female. She has retired at the top of her form, breaking all social barriers placed on female athletes. Now she is taken on a challenge that will last for the rest of her life and that is Motherhood. The retired boxer is expecting her first child with husband former NFL player Curtis Conway. The former boxer is speaking candid and exclusively with womens magazine, Essence, for their up & coming may issue, she states a few things and leaves a clue that she may not be all the much in a rush to know the sex of the baby.

“I don’t know yet if we are having a boy or a girl, but I’m excited that I have a life inside me that my husband and I created,” Ali stated.

Ali at the age of 30 alongside husband Conway 36, this is the perfect time to settle in a create new things. With her currently hosting the American Gladiator which is a prime time hit alongside, Terry"Hulk" Hogan, she knows what the road to success looks like and it comes from raw perseverance that she is no stranger of. “Curtis is very calm and has a quiet confidence, and he wanted what I wanted—to be married and have a family,” says the former boxer, who retired undefeated as the women’s super middleweight champion.

So I guess we can sit back and watch her life unfold into a positive direction and share in this experience with a woman that has broken down many barriers, and proved capable of a task once set aside for the male. She has done it all and has her sites set on doing even more. Lets wish her the best of luck!

Will the child be a Male or Female? Will the new generation take to boxing? These are some questions that will come up over time. I would be lying if I said I was not curious.

My deepest to Corinne Bailey Rae

Just recently we lost a saxophone player, that was married to Corinne Bailey Rae, a major import to the music scene bringing fresh sounds, that cause you to think and mellow out a long day, listening to each chord struck on her guitar. Jason Rae; there is not much that I can say of you, but may all the best be with you.

This is another tragedy on the grand scale. May we all send out best wishes to the artist. Please support he so that the world can continue to receive such great music for a long time to come.

The body of Jason Rae was discovered in a Leeds flat on Saturday.The 32-year-old musician was a saxophonist with the Haggis Horns.Officers investigating his death have arrested a 32-year-old man on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs.

Paris Hilton Rock out in South Africa

Paris in South Africa! What is it about that, that bugs me. Oh I know what it is, she went there to party it up a little and I was not invited. Dag this! Why was I not invited? I guess I am not cool enough, but mark my words, I will be in Johannesburg the next go round.


She has finally made it and she is partying it up as usual. She was greeted by a "throng" of fans as reported by People , but something is troubling me. What did she do to deserve her fans, and in another country, on another continent? Beats me! Anyway...fans swarmed the superstar of the tabloids, in a party that was put together within 24 hours of it taking place. That goes to tell you that show business has changed, all you need is a million mentions in the tabloids, a porno, and a couple crappy attempts at a pop album and old money top back up your pseudo celebrity to make it happen.

So this is a lesson in entertainment folks, get rich first. Then find something really wild to do, and begin to hang out with a celebrity that is washed up, but gets enough press exposure to grant you the who is that with so and so mention, and you will be on your way. Thanks Nicole Richie, now we are all dancing on the ceiling, along with your dad. Benjii I wish you the best, man and Paris you know I love you but please take some acting classes already. That last movie is giving me nightmares.

On the serious side she has brought joy to all the kids in South Africa, that were able to meet her. From what I am able to see in the photographs she has the love of many more people, than we can ever imagine. This is a good thing that she has done on a global scale, and I would like to see more of it over time. As American Idols favorite judge would say, good looking out(seriously why does he say it all the time).
